Mile High United Way Turkey Trot 2026
The Mile High United Way Turkey Trot takes place in Washington Park, Denver on November 26, 2026. The event supports Mile High United Way programs that focus on early learning, education and workforce development, and basic needs for families in Metro Denver.
The main running course begins at South High School and is a relatively flat A to B route covering 4 Mile. The event also features a family oriented Lil' Gobbler Fun Run of 1 Mile. Only the 4 Mile event uses professional timing. Registrations include an official collectible 2026 Turkey Trot T-shirt (sizes YS to 3XL), a race bib for timed entries, and free digital photos. Pre and post race activities are provided for participants and families.
A Finish Village is located at the finish area and includes sponsor booths, giveaways, interactive experiences, a Lil' Gobbler Kids Zone with games and face painters, photo opportunities with Gobbles the Turkey, and a craft beer garden for adult participants. Furry Friends Registration is available for pets and includes a pet bandana for a fee.
Packet pick up is available by mail through October 25 and by in person pickup at Fleet Feet in Cherry Creek on selected days prior to the event and on Thanksgiving morning. Parking is available at South High School, around Washington Park, and in the All City Stadium lot south of South High School.
Medical personnel will be on site and volunteers and staff can assist in emergencies. Participants are advised to dress for variable November weather. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
