Event overview
The Mile High United Way Turkey Trot takes place on November 27, 2025, in Washington Park, Denver. The event is organized by Mile High United Way and begins at South High School (1700 E. Louisiana Ave). The main running course is a relatively flat A-to-B route of 4 miles. There is also a family fun run, the Lil' Gobbler, at just under 1 mile. Start waves run at 30-minute intervals and have limited capacity.
Race details and logistics
Registration includes an official collectible 2025 Turkey Trot T-shirt (sizes YS–3XL), a race bib with professional timing (only the 4 mile is timed), free digital photos, and pre- and post-race activities. Published registration fees list Individual (4 Mile) and Lil Gobbler (1 Mile) at $55.24 (includes $5.24 in fees); youth 12 and under and seniors 60+ receive a $5 checkout discount. Military pricing is listed with ID verification as required. Base prices increase by $5 on specified November dates.
Packet delivery is available by mail if selected by Oct. 27; packet assembly and mailing begin Nov. 6. Advance in-person packet pick-up is offered at Fleet Feet Cherry Creek on several days before the event and on Thanksgiving morning at South High School. Parking is available at South High School, around Washington Park perimeter, and in the All City Stadium lot south of South High. Medical personnel will be on-site and volunteers will be available for assistance. Furry Friends registration is offered for an additional $15 for a pet bandana.
