The Parker Parks and Recreation Turkey Day 5K FUN Run/Walk takes place on November 26, 2026 in Parker, Colorado. The event starts and finishes at the Parker Recreation Center, 17301 E. Lincoln Ave. The race is part of the Parker Parks and Recreation Run Series and is not officially timed. Standard 5K cost is listed as $38 plus a registration fee; the price increases on November 12, 2026. Groups of four or more who register in the same transaction receive a 10% discount. Registrants receive a commemorative item, a souvenir race bib and hot beverages; a Finisher Medal is available if participants opt in during registration by November 20. Previous-year commemorative items such as race socks, a scarf, beanie or gloves are offered as paid add-ons. Any proceeds will benefit the Town of Parker Scholarship Program.
Course and logistics
The course is a loop that begins and ends at the Parker Recreation Center. The route goes west on Recreation Dr. (closed road), north on Jordan Rd. (closed lane), east on the E-470 Trail, then south on the Cherry Creek Regional Trail before returning to the Recreation Center. Strollers are allowed; dogs, bikes and scooters are not permitted for safety reasons. The event is held rain, snow or shine and refunds are not issued.
