Part of the Parker Parks and Recreation Run Series, the event is a family-oriented 5K run/walk that is not officially timed. The course is a loop that begins and ends at the Recreation Center, proceeds west on Recreation Drive (closed road), turns north onto Jordan Road (closed lane), then east on the E‑470 Trail, south on the Cherry Creek Regional Trail, and returns to the Recreation Center.
Standard registration is listed at $38 plus registration fees; the price increases in November. Groups of four or more registering in the same transaction receive a 10% discount. Event-day registration may be available for an additional fee if space remains.
Registrants receive a commemorative shirt, a souvenir race bib, and hot cocoa, cider, or coffee. A finisher medal is offered for those who opt in by November 20. Previous-year commemorative items such as socks, a scarf, beanie, or gloves are available for purchase as add-ons.
Strollers are welcome; dogs, bikes, and scooters are not allowed. The event is held rain, snow, or shine and refunds will not be issued.
