Overview
The Parker Parks and Recreation Turkey Day 5K FUN Run/Walk takes place on Nov. 26, 2026 in Parker, Colorado. The event is a 5K loop that starts and finishes at the Parker Recreation Center, 17301 E. Lincoln Ave. It is part of the Parker Parks and Recreation Run Series and is not officially timed. Registrants receive a commemorative item, a souvenir race bib, and access to hot cocoa, cider or coffee. A Finisher Medal is available by opt-in through 11/20/26. Participants age 21 and over may redeem one free beer at Bodega Beer Company by showing their race bib between Nov. 27 and Nov. 29. Groups of four or more who register in the same transaction receive a 10% discount. Previous-year commemorative socks, scarf, beanie and gloves are offered as add-on items during registration.
Course and logistics
Packet pickup is scheduled Nov. 23 to Nov. 25 at a location to be determined; race-day pickup will be at the Parker Recreation Center. Strollers are permitted. For safety and event size, dogs, bikes and scooters are not allowed. The event is held rain, snow or shine and refunds will not be issued. Net proceeds support the Town of Parker Scholarship Program. The course follows a loop that goes west on Recreation Dr. (closed road), north on Jordan Rd. (closed lane), east on the E-470 Trail, south on the Cherry Creek Regional Trail, and returns to the Recreation Center. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
