Thankful 4... 5K and Fun Run

Sharecroppers Coffee and Creamery hosts the fourth annual Thankful 4... event in Snead, Alabama. The event includes three distances:

• 5K
• 10K
• 1 Mile Fun Run

The starting and ending points are at Sharecroppers. The course is described as rather easy and passes through country scenery. Participants can write messages on on site "thankful boards" and use a photo booth provided by ELC Productions. The event is chip timed and walkers are welcome.

Proceeds support the Sharecroppers Soles fund, which allows cross country and track and field students to apply for a shoe scholarship. If selected, a student is properly fitted with shoes appropriate for their sport.

Race packets include a bib, a shirt, a finisher award and additional items. Age division awards and overall male and female awards will be presented. The venue at 380 Greer Drive also operates as a full espresso bar that serves breakfast, lunch and ice cream, and features a large gift shop. Registration deadline to guarantee a shirt is November 7.
