Midsummer Night Run presented by HomeTown Bank of Alabama
Midsummer Night Run in Oneonta is an evening community event on August 22, 2026 at Oneonta Recreation Park, 28117 State Highway 75, Oneonta, AL 35121. The program includes road races and a separate event-only admission for festival access.
Race options and event access:
- 5K Run/Walk
- Kids 1 Mile Fun Run open to youth 12 and under
- Event Entry ONLY for food trucks, live music, games, inflatables, and a fireworks finale
The 5K uses a USATF certified course (AL2617JE). 5K participants receive a timing chip that is affixed to the backside of the bib; the bib number should be worn on the front of the shirt for a recorded time. Kids in the 1 Mile Fun Run receive a finisher medal, and the Kids entry notes a runner shirt and event entry as included.
Awards for the 5K include top three overall male and female finishers, oldest and youngest finisher, and top three male and female in multiple age groups from 4 to 10 through 70 plus. Registration fees are listed per event and registration opens June 15, 2026. There are no refunds; bib transfers must be completed by August 20, 2026.
