Midsummer Night Run presented by HomeTown Bank of Alabama
Midsummer Night Run is an evening community event in Oneonta, Alabama, held at Oneonta Recreation Park and presented by HomeTown Bank of Alabama. The event program includes a USATF certified 5K course (AL2617JE), a 1 mile Kids Fun Run for youth 12 and under, and an event-only option that provides access to food trucks, live music, a fun zone with inflatables and games, and an evening fireworks finale.
Participants in the 5K receive a timing bib with a chip; bibs must be worn on the front of the shirt and the chip is located on the backside of the bib. Race awards include top three overall male and female finishers, age group awards for multiple age brackets, and recognition for the oldest and youngest finishers. Kids in the 1 mile run receive a finisher medal.
Packet pickup and registration are available before the event at HomeTown Bank of Alabama and on race day at Oneonta Recreation Park. Parking is available at Oneonta High School with shuttle service to the event site; there is no parking at the event site. There are no refunds of registration fees; bib transfers must be completed by August 20, 2026.
