About the race
The Terryville FD Stop, Drop & Run is a 5K Run/Walk held on October 17, 2026 at Terryville Fire Dept Station 2, 688 Old Town Road, Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776. The course starts and finishes at the fire department station on Old Town Road. Event amenities include free finish line photos, live online/text/email results, and complimentary post-race assisted stretches provided by Stretch Zone of Miller Place. The first 150 registrants receive a Terryville FD 5K tee shirt.
A breakfast food truck, The Running Egg, will be at the finish area and will accept cash, card, and Apple Pay. ALatte Coffee Company will operate a coffee trailer offering hot and iced specialty drinks and signature refreshments; payment methods include cash, credit cards, and Apple Pay. Personalized bibs are available for those who register at least three weeks before the event. Bib pickup opens with event staff assistance beginning one hour before the event start.
Registration fees are non-refundable and used to cover race expenses. Awards are given to overall first male and female and to the top two male and female finishers in age groups 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80-plus.
