About the race
The Terryville FD Stop, Drop & Run is a community 5K Run/Walk scheduled for October 17, 2026 at Terryville Fire Dept Station #2, 688 Old Town Road, Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776. The course starts and finishes at the fire department station.
Event amenities include a race tee shirt for the first 150 registrants, live/text/email results, free finish line photos, and personalized bibs for those who register at least three weeks before the event. A breakfast food truck, The Running Egg, will be at the finish area and ALatte Coffee Company will offer hot and iced coffee and specialty drinks. Stretch Zone of Miller Place will provide free post-race assisted stretches at the finish.
Registration lists a base run/walk fee of $35.00 and published total fees that include processing; published examples show early registration and race day totals. All registration fees are non-refundable. The event awards overall first place male and female and top two male and female finishers in age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 plus.
