Terryville FD Stop, Drop & Run 5K Run/Walk
This event is a community 5K run and walk held on October 17, 2026 at Terryville Fire Dept Station #2, 688 Old Town Road, Port Jefferson Station, NY. The course starts and finishes at the fire department station on Old Town Road.
Race amenities include a tee shirt for the first 150 registrants, live/text/email results, free finish line photos, and personalized bibs for participants who register at least three weeks before race day. A breakfast food truck, The Running Egg, will be located at the finish area offering morning food items; cash, card and Apple Pay are accepted. A mobile coffee trailer from ALatte Coffee Company will be on site serving hot and iced specialty drinks. Stretch Zone of Miller Place will provide complimentary post-race assisted stretches at the finish line.
Awards are presented to the overall top male and female and to the top two male and female finishers in the following age divisions: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 plus. Bib pickup opens one hour before the event start time; participants who do not know their bib number may use a self lookup area.
