Terryville FD Stop, Drop & Run 5K Run/Walk
The Terryville FD Stop, Drop & Run is a community 5K run/walk scheduled for October 17, 2026, at Terryville Fire Dept Station #2, 688 Old Town Road, Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776. The course starts and finishes at the fire department station on Old Town Road.
Event amenities include a commemorative tee shirt for the first 150 registrants, live online/text/email results, free finish line photos, and free post-race assisted stretches provided by Stretch Zone of Miller Place. The Running Egg breakfast food truck will be at the finish area offering morning food; it accepts cash, card, and Apple Pay. Participants who register at least three weeks before the event receive personalized bibs.
Awards are presented for Overall 1 Male and Overall 1 Female, and Top 2 Male and Top 2 Female in the following age groups: 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+. Proceeds benefit Terryville Fire Department Company 2. Registration fees are noted as non-refundable and are applied to race expenses.
Additional event services include live video and same-day finish line photos. Bib pickup is handled by event staff on the event day and self-lookup options are available for those who do not know their bib number. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
