Jingle Bell Run/Walk Annapolis
The DeCesaris Prout Cancer Foundation organizes the 15th annual Jingle Bell event at Quiet Waters Park, Sassafras Pavilion, in Annapolis, Maryland. The event includes both a 5K run and a 3K walk and raises awareness and funds for lung and ovarian cancer research and patient services.
Registration opens September 15 and closes November 15. Entry fees are $50 through November 15 and $60 from November 16 through race day. Participants aged 10 and under register free and are not eligible for a shirt. Packet pickup is available Friday December 4 at Evolutions, 1834 George Ave, Annapolis, and on Saturday at Sassafras Pavilion.
Participants who register prior to November 8 receive a commemorative long sleeve shirt, a commemorative race bib, and two jingle bells for shoes. The 5K bibs include a timing chip. All 5K and 3K registrants receive a custom bib, a long sleeve shirt, and participation in the family fun run.
Awards are given to the overall male and female finishers and to top male and female finishers in age groups 12 and under, 13 to 17, 18 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, and 60 and over. There is also an award for best costume. Virtual participants are not eligible for awards. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
