TENAX DC 2026: Run. Train. Endure.
TENAX is an adventure race that combines running with indoor workout challenges at three partner gyms in Washington DC’s Navy Yard neighborhood. The event uses BoomBox at 1221 Van St. SE, Washington DC 20003, as a listed location and connects BOOMBOX, Rev'd, and Invictus for on-course stations.
Participants run between stations and complete a short fitness challenge at each location. The gym challenges include cycling at Rev'd, functional fitness at Invictus, and boxing at BOOMBOX. Both the running segments and the workout challenges count as part of the competition. Runners start in managed waves to reduce congestion and keep each station organized.
The course covers three miles or more. Capacity is limited to 30 participants and the registration fee is $50. Registration opens on October 7, 2026 and closes on November 4, 2026. The event will continue in rainy conditions because the fitness challenges take place indoors. Registered athletes will receive the final route, starting location, station order, and participant instructions by email before race day.
