Event Overview
The 2026 Ten Trails Active Club 5K Turkey Trot is a Thanksgiving Day community run taking place in Black Diamond, Washington. This marks the fourth year of the event.
Registration Details
Registration is free but has a cap of approximately 250 participants. Race day registrations will not be accepted. Organizers request a minimum $8 donation from each registrant to support the club and the future of the event. The event is organized by a small group of volunteers.
Participants are asked to register only those planning to complete the entire 5K course on their own. Children in strollers are welcome on the course but should not be registered as separate participants.
Course & Event Format
The event uses the same course as the previous year. It is an open course and will be hand-timed. Participants are asked to arrive 20-30 minutes before the start for check-in.
The event is open to all skill levels. There are separate prize categories for both walkers and runners.
Additional Activities
Snacks are provided at the finish line. Enamel race/club pins and Pulse Brewed Coffee will be available for purchase, with proceeds funding club activities. A raffle for Thanksgiving desserts will be held after the event.
