Event Overview
The Ten Trails Active Club 5k Summer Series is a community-focused running and walking event held in Black Diamond, Washington. This series consists of seven bi-weekly races occurring every other Wednesday throughout the summer months. Participants can choose to run or walk the designated 5 km course.
Course Information
The event takes place on an open course that utilizes the trail system within the Ten Trails community. The route features a winding layout. Each race in the series is hand-timed by the organizers. Results for each event are typically published online within a few days following the completion of the race.
Series Participation and Format
Participants are required to register once to be eligible for all seven races in the series. Upon initial check-in, runners and walkers are assigned a permanent race number for the entire season. Registration for the series is free of charge. The event occurs on the following dates:

To be eligible for season-end prizes and awards, participants must compete in at least four of the seven scheduled races. Categories for recognition include speed-based awards for the fastest runners and walkers, as well as spirit awards for sprint segments and community support.
Amenities and Logistics
Post-race snacks and water are provided to participants. The organizers encourage the use of personal water bottles to reduce the consumption of plastic cups. Check-in and gatherings take place at Civic Park. On weeks when no official race is scheduled, the club hosts informal group runs from the same location.
