Teanaway Country 100M/50M/50K
Teanaway Country races take place in the Teanaway area of the Cascade Range near Cle Elum, Washington. The event is scheduled for September 19 and 20, 2026, and offers three trail distances.

The 100 mile course is an out-and-back with about 31,000 ft of elevation gain and loss, served by 12 full service aid stations. The 50 mile course is point-to-point with roughly 16,000 ft gain and 15,000 ft loss and six aid stations. The 50K is a lollipop route with about 11,000 ft gain and loss and three aid stations. Published finish cutoff windows are approximate and finish times may be recorded if all aid station cutoffs are met.
Courses traverse rocky, remote mountain terrain with long, steep climbs and aid stations on average 8+ miles apart, the longest gap being 10.6 miles. Runners should expect variable mountain weather including warm days, cold nights and possible snow or storms, and should be prepared for potential wildlife encounters. Rescue could take many hours in this area.
Required gear includes a pack or running vest, at least 30 ounces of water, an emergency blanket or bivy, a waterproof jacket, and a headlamp or flashlight. 100 mile entrants must meet a qualifying race requirement and complete one day (6 to 8 hours) of trail work within 12 months or submit a minimum donation with proof. The start and finish are on U.S. Forest Service land at Salmon La Sac Sno Park and a forest pass is required for vehicles. Crew access is allowed only at specified aid stations.
