Teanaway Country 100M/50M/50K
Teanaway Country is a multi distance trail race held September 19 and 20, 2026 near Cle Elum, Washington on US Forest Service land centered at Salmon La Sac Sno Park. The event offers long mountain courses with sustained climbing, remote singletrack and long gaps between aid stations.
Distances
- 100M Out and back with 31,000 ft elevation gain and 12 aid stations.
- 50M Point to point with about 16,000 ft gain and 6 aid stations.
- 50K Lollipop with about 11,000 ft gain and 3 aid stations.
The courses run on rocky and rough terrain with long steep climbs, variable mountain weather and potential wildlife encounters. Aid stations are on average 8 plus miles apart with a maximum gap of 10.6 miles; the organizers recommend carrying at least 40 ounces of water and several hours of food. Required personal gear includes a pack or running vest, 30 plus ounces of water, an emergency blanket or bivy, waterproof jacket and a headlamp or flashlight.
The 100 mile entry has qualifying requirements and a trail work or donation requirement within the 12 months before race day. Crew access is limited to specified aid stations and a Northwest Forest Pass is required for vehicles. Pacers are permitted at the Miller Peak aid station for safety reasons.
