Needles 50k : Easton, WA, June 27, 2026

The Needles 50k is an unsupported mountain loop near Easton, Washington. The course links Domerie Divide, Thomas Mountain, French Cabin Mountain, Little Joe Lake, Thorp Mountain, Kachess Ridge (the Cardiac Needles), and Silver Creek. The route includes approximately 10,000 feet of climb and follows a single loop.

There will be no aid stations and no course markings. Untreated creek water appears at multiple points on the route and runners should plan to carry or treat their own water and all calories. GPX files for the course will be emailed at least one week before the event and must be preloaded into a map app. Participants are required to carry a phone with the course loaded. The official finish is subject to a 12 hour cutoff for recorded results; 14 hours may apply if an early start is offered.

Entry requires a prior 50 mile trail run completed in 12 hours or less. Verification of completing the full course will require GPS track submission and specified summit selfies, including at the summit of Thorp Mountain. Start and finish location may change and will be updated by the organizer. A full refund is offered if a participant is not completely satisfied with their experience.
