TEAM RIVER RUNNER: 2026 BIATHLON
Team River Runner presents a hybrid event with an in-person D.C. Biathlon at The Washington Canoe Club in Washington, DC and a separate virtual challenge that can be completed anywhere. The in-person format combines paddling and a short road or trail segment and offers both solo and team entries.
The in-person D.C. Biathlon includes:
- Kayak approximately 1 mile
- Run/Jog/Walk/handcycle approximately 3 miles
The in-person event takes place at The Washington Canoe Club, 3700 K St. NW, Washington, DC 20007. The virtual challenge asks participants to complete 90 minutes of continuous activity from any location. Both formats are described as adaptive and accessible, and both provide options for fundraising using the event platform.
Registration information from the organizer:
- Registration opens July 28, 2026.
- Registration closes October 1, 2026 for the in-person event and October 4, 2026 for the virtual event.
- Standard registration fee is $40. Veterans are listed as free and adaptive racers are listed as free for the virtual challenge.
