Manatee Center 5K, One-Mile, & Kids Run - Fort Pierce
The Manatee Center 5K, One-Mile, & Kids Run is scheduled for March 21, 2026 in Fort Pierce, Florida. The event is presented as the 18th annual edition and includes multiple race options and accompanying post-race activities such as refreshments, awards, and a runners raffle.

The 5K is a chip-timed course managed by Second Wind Timing. Awards are given to overall 5K winners, Masters, and the top three male and female finishers in each ten-year age group. The first 350 5K registrants are guaranteed finisher medals. All 5K registrants receive a tech shirt while supplies last, with shirts guaranteed through February 28. Youth age rules include a 5K registration option for participants 15 and under at a reduced rate.
The one mile follows much of the 5K course and then turns toward the Indian River Lagoon before crossing Seaway Drive Bridge; the one mile is untimed and does not have awards, but registrants receive entries for the runners drawing.
This race is a fundraiser for the Friends of the Manatee Center, a 501(c)(3) organization. Net proceeds support local operations, environmental education, conservation and stewardship efforts for the Indian River Lagoon and surrounding ecosystems.
