Taxiway 5k, Upland CA
The Taxiway 5k is held at Cable Airport with the start and finish located in front of Baldy Brewing Company in Upland, CA. The course is a counterclockwise loop around the airport and offers views of nearby mountains and aircraft on display.
Registration for the event includes a Taxiway 5k hat and a post-race drink at the brewery. After the run, the brewery area hosts a post-race gathering with live music and food trucks.

The Kid's Takeoff Dash is presented by the Mt. Baldy Athletics Foundation and takes young runners into the airport for a short loop. The Mt. Baldy Athletics Foundation is a nonprofit supporting youth athletic development in Mt. Baldy Village and the San Antonio Canyon Watershed.
Course and logistics: the 5k is generally described as flat and fast with several twists and turns around hangars. The course will be marked and staffed. There is one water station approximately at the halfway point. Race bibs can be picked up at the brewery on race day during the stated packet pickup window.
