Claremont Turkey Trot
The event is the 19th annual Claremont Turkey Trot presented by Claremont Sunrise Rotary on 11/26/2026. The start and finish are at Claremont Memorial Park, 850 N Yale Ave, Claremont, CA 91711. Packet pickup and late registration options are available. Race shirt availability is not guaranteed for late registrations.
The event program includes these distances:
- 1K Kid's Fun Run - loop through nearby neighborhood; finishers receive a medal and shirt.
- 5K Run/Walk - course through the tree-lined streets of the Claremont Colleges and nearby historic neighborhoods.
The 1K course begins on Yale Ave, heads south, turns east on 8th Street, goes north on Harvard Ave, then west on 12th Street before returning to Yale Ave for the finish. The 5K course is described as scenic and includes a slight downhill grade on the final leg that leads into the finish. The 5K course is not USATF certified.
Registration for both events opens 8/31/2026 and closes 11/1/2026. Listed registration fees are $25.00 for the 1K Kid's Fun Run and $45.00 for the 5K Run/Walk. All participants in the listed events receive a finisher medal and a race shirt, subject to availability for late registrations. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
