The races are accurately measured and chip timed. Each kilometre is marked with distance flags and marshals are positioned around the course to guide and support runners. Entries include a unique themed medal, chip timed results, post-race goodies and free official race photos.
The 2026 event supports The Christie Charity, which funds research, treatment, care and education related to cancer. An event village is provided with food and drink options and partner giveaways at the finish.
