Run Media City 5k & 10k - 30 July 2026
Run Media City takes place at MediaCity UK with start and finish in the Media City Piazza. The event follows a 2.5 km loop through the heart of Media City UK, passing the Millennium Bridge, the Imperial War Museum, and running alongside the ITV and BBC television studios. The route runs along the waterfront and is marked with distance flags for each kilometre.
Two race distances are offered:
- 5k
- 10k
Entries include a unique themed medal, free official race photos, chip-timed results, and post-race goodies. Courses are supported by marshals who guide and cheer on participants, and a staffed event village provides food and drink options with additional free items from partners at the finish. The organiser highlights sustainability as a growing priority for its events.
An event t-shirt is available at a discounted price when purchased as part of the entry through the event’s kit partner RT Kit.
