Event

The ODA 5K & Kids Fun Run takes place on January 24, 2026 in Sarasota, Florida. The event program includes these distances:

Kids Fun Run (10 & Under)

All ages may enter the 5K. The 5K starts and ends on Out-of-Door School's Uihlein Campus in Lakewood Ranch and includes an off-campus section. Overall awards will be presented. Varsity athletes will be available to buddy with children who do not run on their own. All participants receive a finishers' medal and a shirt, with shirts guaranteed by December 24.

Location: 5950 Deer Dr, Sarasota, FL 34240. Registration details listed for each event include a price of $39.99 for the 5K and $24.99 for the Kids Fun Run. The 5K price increases after January 5, 2026 at 11:59 pm EST. Registration for the Kids Fun Run remains open through January 24, 2026 at 11:59 pm EST. Packet pick up is available Friday, January 23, 4:00 - 7:00 pm at Out-of-Door and on race day at Out-of-Door from 7:00 am - 8:00 am. Sponsors for the event include local businesses and organizations.
