About the race
The Gearshop Tasman Adventure Race is an annual team adventure race held in Motueka. The 2026 edition is the event's third and is organised as a fundraising activity for Motueka High School’s Adventure Racing Squad. It runs as timed team formats with options for 4 hour, 8 hour, and 12 hour events.
The race is presented in association with Wicked Rogaines and supported by local sponsors and volunteers from the adventure racing community.
