Tasman Adventure Race : Gearshop Tasman Adventure Race 2026
The Gearshop Tasman Adventure Race takes place in Motueka on 14 November 2026. It is the third edition of this event and serves as the main fundraising initiative for Motueka High School's Adventure Racing Squad.
The format offers team events of different durations. Participants navigate courses arranged and supported with the help of Wicked Rogaines, local sponsors, and volunteers. The event is used by the high school squad as a practical learning environment, where senior members gain event experience by helping to run the race.
The event base uses an address in the Motueka Valley: c/o 1921 Motueka Valley Highway, Motueka 7196. Organisers acknowledge contributions from past students who return to assist, and from the local community that supports the event.
