Tarmac Twister Trail

The Tarmac Twister Trail is a unique self-navigation trail race taking place on October 9, 2024, in Chelmer Village, Essex. Covering approximately 6 miles on tarmac and hard surfaces, participants will receive a written route description on the night of the event. The race features a bespoke glow-in-the-dark medal for all finishers and light refreshments.

With only 120 places available, this popular event has sold out each year. Participants are encouraged to bring a head or hand torch for reading instructions, as the course is unmarked and not marshaled. Race HQ is at Springfield Cricket Club, Chelmsford.
