About the race
The Tarmac Twister Trail is a unique self-navigation trail race organized by Essex Trail Events, taking place on October 9, 2024. Covering approximately 6 miles, the event features a written route description provided on the night, with participants required to use head or hand torches for navigation as the course is unmarked. All finishers receive a bespoke glow-in-the-dark medal and light refreshments.
