Southend Triathlon
The Southend Triathlon is scheduled for 21 June 2026 and takes place at the car park area of Uncle Toms Cabin, Shoebury Common Road, Southend-on-Sea, SS3 9HG. The event runs several race formats across swim, bike and run disciplines and includes an Aqua Bike and a Team Relay option.
Available distances include:
- Sprint: 750 m swim, 20 km bike, 5 km run
- Standard: 1500 m swim, 40 km bike, 10 km run
- Aqua Bike Standard: 1500 m swim, 40 km bike
- Team Relay Standard: 1500 m swim, 40 km bike, 10 km run - minimum of 3 people
Entries include a fully signposted course, chip timing, a large water safety team with boat support, first aid team and response vehicle, security and stewards, and a secure transition area. The swim course is marked with large race buoys. The event provides race equipment items such as a bespoke metal medal, a race belt, a branded Sundried swim cap, temporary race number tattoos and race numbers. Organisers list a team of 50+ staff on event day and marshal support along the course.
