Tamarac Tri : event overview
The Tamarac Tri is scheduled for Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Fremont Lake Park in Fremont, Michigan. The event offers two entry options: a sprint triathlon and a triathlon relay team. Registration is open through August 13, 2026. Entry fees listed are $75 for an individual sprint entry and $165 for a relay team. The event is open to ages 16 and older. The race policy states no refunds and no transfers. Course maps and additional event information are provided by the organizer.

Course and race procedures
The swim starts from the shore next to the public boat launch, proceeds around a buoy, and finishes at the public beach into the transition area. The bike course follows local roads out of the transition area and returns to the park; named segments include Lake Drive, 64th Street, Osborn Avenue, 72nd Street, Fitzgerald Avenue, 60th Street, Comstock Avenue, 56th Street, and Glen Avenue. The run follows the Town & Country Path to Oak Street, continues along path segments including Connie Avenue and Locust Avenue, crosses a bridge, proceeds to Green Avenue and Lake Drive, and finishes on Glen Avenue.
The swim will be organized in three waves of 50 swimmers each. Participants may use approved flotation aids such as life jackets or kickboards as allowed by the organizers. Course maps are provided for each discipline. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
