Tamarac Tri
Tamarac Tri is a sprint triathlon at Fremont Lake Park in Fremont, Michigan on Saturday, August 15, 2026. The race includes a 750-meter swim, a 12.4-mile bike, and a 5K run.

Entry options include an individual race fee of $75 and a relay team fee of $165. The field is limited to 150 participants, organized into three waves of 50 each. Registration closes August 13, 2026; the last day to register and receive an event shirt is August 1, 2026. No refunds or transfers are permitted.
Swim waves are organized by pace; Wave 2 and Wave 3 are recommended for swimmers who prefer a more relaxed pace. Participants may use a bodysuit or approved flotation aids such as a lifejacket or kickboard for the swim. The swim starts on the shore by the public boat launch, rounds a buoy, and finishes at the public beach into the transition area.
Helmets are required for the bike portion and must be buckled during all aspects of the bike; failure to have a helmet buckled will result in disqualification. The 5K run has one water station at approximately the 1.5-mile marker. Course maps are provided for each leg of the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
