The RVR Talk Turkey to Me 5k Turkey Trot takes place on Saturday, November 29, 2025, in Russellville, Arkansas at 1604 N Coliseum Dr., 72802. The event includes these distances and formats:

Registration prices listed are $35 for the 5k run and walk, $15 for the kids 1k, and $40 for the virtual trot. In-person registration ends November 27, 2025 (11:59 pm CST) for the in-person events and November 28, 2025 (11:59 pm CST) for the virtual trot. Check-in for pre-registered participants is scheduled from 6:30 to 7:45 on race day. Same-day registration is available for $40 from 6:30 to 7:30, but a shirt and medal are not guaranteed for same-day registrants.
Charity, donations and awards
Proceeds from the event will benefit Main Street Mission in Russellville. Main Street Mission provides hot meals, groceries, clothing, furniture, and assistance with employment and housing. Attendees may bring non-perishable food and household items; each donated item earns a raffle ticket. Commonly requested items listed include coffee, creamer, tea, sugar, rice, dried beans, pasta, cooking oil, paper products, cleaning supplies, and detergents. Age-group awards are planned for runners and walkers, and the top three male and female finishers in runners and walkers divisions receive a Butterball gift certificate.
