Talent Harvest Festival
The Talent Harvest Festival features two running events held in Talent, Oregon. The races start at Talent City Hall, located at 110 E Main St. Participating runners can choose between two different distances:
- 5k
- 10k
The 5k course consists of an out-and-back route characterized by gradual inclines and declines. The 10k course follows the same initial path as the 5k before extending into a hilly section that offers views of the surrounding area. Participants are escorted through the course by local police officers at the beginning of the race.
The registration fees are structured based on membership in the Southern Oregon Runners (SOR) organization, with a lower rate for members compared to non-members. Youth participants aged 18 and under can enter the races at no cost. Event organizers offer early registration until the day before the race, while late and race-day entries are available at a higher fee.
Packet pick-up occurs on the morning of the event at the starting location. The first 200 finishers in the races receive a towel. The proceeds from the event are used to support the Shoes for Student Runners Program. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
