Camelback Run
The Camelback Run takes place Saturday February 28, 2026 in Phoenix, Oregon. All races start and finish on or next to the new Phoenix High School track at 745 N Rose St, Phoenix OR 97535.
The event includes these distances:
- 15K - back roads of Phoenix with notable hills and scenic views.
- 5K - out-and-back route turning at the end of Hilsinger Road.
- Kids' Mile - run on the track; open to ages 14 and under.
The event is a fundraiser to help the Phoenix High School Track and Field team pay for meet entry fees and to purchase new throwing implements and jumping equipment. Entry fees are listed as $25 standard and $20 for club members; participants 18 and under run free. Day of race entry will be $25. Bib pick-up and day-of registration are available from 9 to 10 am on the day of the race. Check-in, start, and finish are situated on or near the track.
Age division awards are provided by People's Bank with trophies for first place age group finishers, medals for second place, and ribbons for third place. Races use public roads and trails that are not closed to traffic; participants should use caution on roadways and paths. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
