Take Heart 10K & 5K takes place on February 21, 2026, in Tyler, Texas. The event is an all-female running event held at Spinout at Swann Plaza, 7266 Old Jacksonville Hwy, Tyler, TX 75703. The race offers the following distances:

Features and awards
A portion of event proceeds benefits The Center for Healthy Living, a free health education and resource center for East Texas residents. The 2026 event is presented by CHRISTUS Heart & Vascular Institute.
The event provides on-course support, a gear check (12" x 18"), and over 100 feet of sponsor and vendor booths. Post-race refreshments are included and list options such as three varieties of wine (one full pour), Specialty Bar Mix, and chocolate covered pretzels made by Pop's Wine Bar. Hydration and upgraded post-race nutrition are provided by Natural Grocers. RaceJoy is available for GPS progress alerts, live tracking, and send-a-cheer features; participants must carry their phone and activate tracking to use it.
Registration includes a custom women's shirt, a finisher medal, a race bib with chip timing, and free unlimited photo downloads. Prizes are awarded to the top three finishers in each of the 5K and 10K, and to the top three in age groups: 18 and under, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+.
