Event overview
The Tails & Tatas Breast Cancer Awareness 5k Run/Walk takes place on October 10, 2026, in Elizabethtown, KY. The event is organized in partnership with Swope Family of Dealerships and will run in a hybrid format with both in-person and virtual participation. The in-person start and finish are at Swope Toyota, and the course winds through Freeman Lake Park. The event is dog-friendly and includes a pet costume contest with three categories held before the run/walk. Proceeds will be given to the Baptist Health Foundation Hardin.

- Kids 1 Mile Run : open to ages 12 and under; entry fee listed as $10.
Awards for the 5K will be given to the overall male and female winners. For the 1-mile fun run, awards are given for first, second and third place male and female finishers; all other 1-mile participants receive a medal.

Packet pickup is scheduled on dates prior to the event at local locations: Pet Supplies Plus in Elizabethtown and Swope Toyota in Elizabethtown, with additional pickup on the event date at Swope Toyota.
