The course is a loop around Buffalo Lake that follows the shoreline, passes through shaded woodland trails, and crosses rolling terrain. Surfaces are mixed - paved paths, gravel roads, and natural trails. The event offers fully stocked aid stations, chip-timed results, finisher medals, race swag, and overall awards. Post-race refreshments are provided. A referral program is available: registrants receive a referral link and may receive a partial refund after five referrals, with additional refunds for more referrals.
