Tails and Trails 5K
Tails and Trails is a community 5K event held in Cody, Wyoming on August 8, 2026. The event is a partnership between Cody Regional Health and Wyo Hoofbeats to raise funds for Wyo Hoofbeats and to promote the animal therapy program at Cody Regional Health.
The course combines residential streets and trails that run alongside the Shoshone River and offer views of the surrounding mountains. The route is described as flat and fast for runners, while walkers and participants with dogs can choose a more relaxed, scenic pace. The event welcomes runners, casual walkers, and people who plan to bring dogs.
Early registration fee is $35 through August 7, 2026. Registration includes an event t-shirt and a swag bag of participant items.
