The 100K and 100 Mile events have published time cutoffs: a 20 hour cutoff for the 100K and a 36 hour cutoff for the 100 Mile. The event is an ITRA member and awards qualifier points: 5 points for the 100 Mile, 4 points for the 100K, and 3 points for the 50K. A past edition reported about 18,000 feet of elevation gain and loss over the 100 mile course and an average elevation near 8,300 feet.
Permits and land use involve state park, national forest, ski area, college, and city open space agencies. The event is organized as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit; net proceeds support local trail maintenance, backcountry patrols, youth and community programs, and regional charitable organizations. Photography and event media have been produced for multiple editions. Hosts and partners include a local running club and several outdoor brands and community organizations.
