About the race
The Tahoe 100K is an ultramarathon on trails around Lake Tahoe. The course starts and finishes near Stagecoach Lodge, Stateline, NV, and takes place on National Forest lands. The distance is 62.9 miles.
The route is nearly all singletrack and reaches elevations up to 9,800 feet. Runners encounter 11,500 feet of climbing and more than 23,000 feet of total elevation change. The course passes by Star Lake, described as Tahoe’s highest alpine lake, and includes ridge-line views and varied mountain terrain.
Logistics for the event include three aid stations and a 24 hour cutoff. The race is scheduled for June 19–20, 2027. These course features combine long distance, sustained climbing, high altitude, and trail conditions typical of Sierra Nevada mountain terrain.
