Tad Tri 2026 : Tadcaster, North Yorkshire
Tad Tri is a sprint triathlon held in Tadcaster with a pool swim, a bike leg and a run. The race route combines a 400 m pool swim with a 13 km bike section and a flat 6 km run alongside the River Wharfe. The course is described as undulating for the bike and flat for the run. Entry is limited to 300 participants; remaining places were listed at 255 and the event is not suitable for wheelchairs.
Facilities at Race HQ (Riverside School, Wetherby Road, Tadcaster LS24 9JN) include water stations, toilets, changing facilities and showers. There are no distance markers and no baggage store.
Prizes are awarded to the first three male and female finishers and to first-place male and female veterans in the 40+, 50+, 60+ and 70+ age groups. To take part, competitors must hold a British Triathlon race licence or purchase a single-use Race Pass. Minimum age to enter is 17 years old by 31/12/2026. Entry fees listed are £55.00 for the sprint and £80.00 for a team relay. Entry closes on Friday 1 May at 10:00 and there is no entry on the day.
