Tad Tri 2026
Tad Tri 2026 is a sprint-distance triathlon held in Tadcaster, North Yorkshire, on 4 May 2026. The event is organised by EvenSplits and raises funds for Tadcaster Community Pool. The race is limited to 300 entries; some places remain available.
Course and facilities
The sprint format consists of:
- Swim: 400 m (pool)
- Bike: 13 km (scenic route)
- Run: 6 km (flat route alongside the River Wharfe)
The course profile is described as undulating. Race headquarters is at Riverside School, Wetherby Road, Tadcaster. Facilities listed include water stations, toilets, changing rooms and showers. The event is not suitable for wheelchairs. There are no distance markers and no baggage store.
Entries, fees and eligibility
Entry fees are listed as £55.00 for the sprint and £80.00 for a team relay. Entry closes on Friday 1 May at 10:00 and there is no entry on the day. Minimum age to enter is 17 years old by 31/12/2026. Competitors must hold a British Triathlon race licence or purchase a single-use Race Pass.
Prizes
Prizes are announced for male and female 1st to 3rd places and for first male and female vets in 40+, 50+, 60+ and 70+ age categories. British Triathlon rules determine eligibility for the Female and Open competition categories. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
