Tad Tri 2026 - Tadcaster, North Yorkshire
Tad Tri 2026 is a sprint triathlon held in Tadcaster on Monday 4 May 2026. The event is in its 19th year and raises funds for Tadcaster Community Pool. The race format is a pool swim, a bike leg and a run alongside the River Wharfe.
The course distances are: 400 m swim, 13 km bike, 6 km run. The course is listed as undulating with a single lap and an entry limit of 300. The event is not suitable for wheelchairs and the race licence is pending.
Prizes are awarded to the first three male and first three female finishers, plus first male and female veterans in the 40+, 50+, 60+ and 70+ age groups. Minimum age to enter is 17 years old by 31 December 2026. Participation requires British Triathlon membership or purchase of a single use Race Pass under British Triathlon rules. The entry form asks candidates to select Female or Open category; under British Triathlon rules only people who are female sex at birth are eligible for the Female category and all other individuals including transgender people are eligible for the Open category.
Race headquarters are at Riverside School, Wetherby Road, Tadcaster LS24 9JN. On-site facilities include water, toilets, changing rooms and showers; there is no baggage storage and there are no distance markers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
