Tad Tri
Tad Tri is a spring sprint triathlon held in Tadcaster on Monday 3rd May 2027. The event raises funds for Tadcaster Community Pool and is organised by Even Splits. The venue and transition area are at Riverside School, with the swim taking place at Tadcaster Community Pool and the finish returning to Riverside School.
The race consists of these legs:
- 400 m swim in Tadcaster Community Pool
- 13 km bike on a rural route via Boston Spa and Bramham
- 6 km run along the River Wharfe to Newton Kyme and back
Registration takes place at the front of Riverside School close to transition. There is no parking at race headquarters; the town car park behind Cyclesense (accessed from A659 Chapel Street) is suggested. Roadside parking is available off Station Road, but parking on Station Road should be avoided because it is on the cycle route.
Entry details: the sprint entry fee is £55 and the team relay fee is £80. Non-British Triathlon Federation members must purchase a British Triathlon race pass for £8 before race day. There is no entry on the day. Entrants must be aged 17 years or over on 31/12/2027.
All finishers receive a pork pie or vegan alternative, a micro towel and a medal. Prizes are awarded to first to third male and female and to male and female veteran categories 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70+. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
