Taco the Town Run
The 2nd annual Taco the Town Run takes place in Cottleville on May 16, 2026 at Legacy Park. The event offers multiple race options and finishes with a post race gathering that includes food, drinks, and an award ceremony.

Registration includes a race themed t shirt, headband, finisher medal, live race results, race photos, awards for top finishers, and a post race party with music, food, and drinks. Additional items are available for purchase. Pre event packet pickup is scheduled for May 15, 2026 at Mellow Mushroom, and participants must bring photo ID; picking up another participant's packet is allowed.
The 5K and 10K courses were modified for 2026 after a sidewalk closure; updated course maps are available. The route runs through Legacy Park and concludes with a finish line fiesta. On course nutrition will include water and an electrolyte drink for all athletes.
Awards will be given to the top three overall male and female finishers for 5K and 10K, plus top three age group awards by male and female in age categories 0-19 through 80 plus. All athletes have two hours to complete their respective courses. There are no refunds, deferrals, or transfers and the last day to register to guarantee a race shirt is April 22, 2026. Weather related decisions will prioritize safety. Event photos may be taken and posted. Spectator amenities include a sign making craft table for kids, music, and vendor booths.
