Syracuse Ugly Sweater 5K - Liverpool, NY
The Syracuse Ugly Sweater 5K takes place on November 28, 2026 at Onondaga Lake Park under the Lights on the Lake in Liverpool, NY. This is the event's 12th annual running and the venue address is 106 Lake Dr., Liverpool 13088.
The event program includes the 5K run with Team Santa and Team Grinch options, virtual versions of those runs, and a new Ugly Sweater 5K Yeti Walk. Runners in the on-site 5K receive a custom long sleeve shirt and a finisher medal. Walk participants receive a custom winter beanie and a finisher medal.
Packet pickup is scheduled on the days before the race and on race day at the Salt Museum near the start and finish area at 106 Lake Dr. Details for packet pickup locations are provided by the organizer.
A post-race awards ceremony and party will be held at the Cobblestone in Liverpool. Awards are planned for overall and age group winners and there will be prizes for best in dress. An ugly sweater contest will recognize categories such as Best Ugly Sweater, Most Creative, and Funniest.
