Sycamore Pumpkin 10K Run & 1 Mile Fun Run
The 48th annual Sycamore Pumpkin 10K Run and 1 Mile Fun Run takes place in Sycamore, Illinois, on October 25, 2026, with the event centered at 516 East State Street. The race is held during Sycamore's Pumpkin Festival and attracts runners from Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, and beyond.

The 10K is a USATF sanctioned and certified road course with RFID tag timing, live searchable results, and timing clocks at every mile. The first 1,000 10K finishers are eligible for finisher medals while supplies last. Race packet pickup is scheduled in the days leading up to the event at the Sycamore Chamber office and on race day at the Illinois National Guard Armory.
The 1 Mile Fun Run follows a park path that begins east of the Armory, passes tennis courts and the pool, and returns to the shared finish area. The Fun Run is not timed; custom bibs are provided and a custom shirt is available to the first 200 registered Fun Run participants.
Additional on-course and finish area services include three water stations, course marshals, accurate route markings, traffic control, a medical team, post-race refreshments, and beer service for participants 21 and over with visible bib.
