Sycamore Pumpkin 10K Run & 1 Mile Fun Run, Sycamore Illinois
The 48th annual Sycamore Pumpkin 10K Run takes place on October 25, 2026 in Sycamore, Illinois, at 516 East State Street. The event is a USATF sanctioned and certified road race and attracts runners from Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, and beyond. It is held during Sycamore's Pumpkin Festival and supports local downtown maintenance and community development.
Race services and course features for the 10K include RFID timing, live searchable results with detailed leader boards, timing clocks at every mile, three water stations, course marshals, traffic control, and a medical team. The event provides refreshments after the race and beer for participants aged 21 or older with a visible bib. Finish line operations are staffed by an experienced race crew. Ten kilometer finishers are eligible for finisher medals while supplies last; 1,000 finisher medals are available for the 10K.
Packet pickup is offered on the days before the race at the Sycamore Chamber office, and on race morning at the Illinois National Guard Armory.
