Switchback Sorrows 50k Trail Race
Switchback Sorrows is a 50k event held in Riverside State Park near Spokane, WA. The course is a roughly 31-mile loop that covers varied trail types and about 3,100 feet of elevation gain.
The route passes along the Spokane River and crosses the CCC Suspension Bridge. Runners encounter singletrack through ponderosa pine forest, riverside trails, fast prairie sections, technical rocky stretches and multiple winding switchbacks.
