Course, fees and logistics
The course follows a route through wooded areas and uses both dirt and paved roads. The 5 mile course is USATF certified (CT13035JHP). Timing is provided by Fast Track Timing Systems. Support is available on course, and refreshments and an age-group awards ceremony are held indoors at the Litchfield Community Center after the finish. Proceeds benefit the Community Center’s family and youth programming.
Standard online registration is listed at $32.80 (including a fee) and is noted to increase to $35 after February 12, 2026. Race day registration is available at a $35 fee. There is a reduced fee for children 10 and under and no fee for participants aged 80 and above. A course map is provided as a downloadable PDF.
