Sweetheart Classic

Sweetheart Classic is scheduled for February 14, 2026 in Downtown Loveland, Colorado, with the event area centered at 118 W 4th St near Cleveland and 4th. The in-person course is a 5K this year due to construction. Event categories include Singles, Couples, Virtual Singles, and Virtual Couples.

Every participant receives a long-sleeve shirt, a finisher medal, a custom bib, and a complimentary beer from Loveland Aleworks. Awards include medals, gift cards, and gifts from local businesses with overall and masters overall awards for top three men and women, age-division awards for the top three male and female finishers in each age group, and combined-age couples awards across listed ranges.

Packet pickup is available Friday, February 13, 5:30pm-6:30pm at Redemption Church, 565 US 287 S, and on race day near the start/finish; virtual packet pickup options include pickup at sponsor locations or mailing via a P&H add-on. Parking options near the start/finish include a free parking garage, downtown spots, and nearby lots.

Registration is handled online. Couples registration requires one person to pay the couple fee and the second person to join that team without additional payment. The event is held rain or shine; lightning may delay activity. Proceeds support Thompson School District high school and middle school cross country and track teams.
