Event
The Sweetheart Classic is scheduled for February 14, 2026 in Loveland, Colorado (4th and Railroad, 80537). The event offers four entry types: Singles, Couples, Virtual Singles, and Virtual Couples. The course is a newly designed 4-mile route that runs along the River’s Edge Natural Area. Proceeds support the Thompson School District high school and middle school cross country and track teams.
Logistics and awards
Pre-race packet pickup is at Redemption Church in downtown Loveland (565 US 287 S, corner of 6th and Cleveland). Race day packet pickup will be available near the start/finish area on 4th Street. Parking options include a free parking garage, downtown street parking, and nearby lots; the start/finish is near Cleveland and 4th. All registration is handled online; race day registration is permitted and prices increase after January 31, 2026. To be guaranteed a shirt, participants must register by January 30, 2026.
Every finisher will receive a finisher award (new for 2025). Awards include overall and masters top three male and female, age-division top three male and female (age groups 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+), and couples awards by combined age ranges. The Vocal Flair Quartet will perform the National Anthem before the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
