Sweet Home Milwaukee 5K
The Sweet Home Milwaukee 5K is the 13th annual 3.1 mile event held at Veterans Park on the Milwaukee lakefront on May 3, 2026. The event is presented by local Milwaukee businesses and is described as inclusive for all ages and abilities. There is a single 5k race; children run in the same course.
Registration options include in-person and virtual entries. General in-person registration includes a long sleeve shirt, finisher medal with magnet and bottle opener, race bib, chip timing, a Bloody Mary at Brunch It Up, a dish of Freds Frozen Custard on race day, and a donation to Hunger Task Force. Virtual registrations include similar race swag and a mailed packet that begins shipping after the event. Kid entries for runners under 10 are untimed and include a finisher medal, race bib, and frozen custard; shirts for kids are an optional add-on. Children age five and under may participate without registration but must be registered to receive event items.
