Sweet Cheeks Summer Fun Run 5K
This family friendly running event takes place at Hyde Lake Pavilion in Memphis, Tennessee. It aims to raise money for Sweet Cheeks Diaper Ministry and raise awareness about poverty and diaper need in Shelby County and surrounding areas. Strollers are welcome during the race.
Sweet Cheeks Diaper Ministry is described as the only independently ran basic needs bank in the Mid South recognized by The National Diaper Bank. The ministry partners with local social service agencies to provide diapers to low income families and is celebrating distributing over 1.5 million diapers to families in need.
Event services for 5K participants include chip timing, live results, finisher medals while supplies last, post race food and drinks, discount coupons and giveaways, and custom awards for overall and age group winners. A Kid's Dash ticket includes a shirt, a fun run, a kid zone with games, face painting, and additional children's activities.
