Sussex SuperHero 5K
The Sussex SuperHero 5K takes place on September 27, 2026, at Fort Miles, Cape Henlopen Drive, Lewes, DE. Proceeds benefit the Kim and Evans Family Foundation. Parking is available in open lots within the state park.
Event options include:
- 5K run / walk (in-person)
- Competitive Walking 5K (walking only; no running or jogging)
- Virtual 5K (run anywhere; includes t-shirt shipping)
Registration fees vary by category and include mandatory charges; listed example amounts include $33.70 and $39.03. Race policies note that bibs are non-transferable, dogs are not allowed due to insurance liability, and there are no refunds on registrations.
Timing and results are managed by R2R Timing using the MYLAPS BibTag Timing System. Results will be posted online during and after the event. Photos will be posted on the Races2Run Facebook page following the event.
On-site provisions and post race amenities include bagels, fruit, and water. Awards are given by gun time for overall male and female and masters, with other age groups scored by chip net time. Age-group awards cover ten-year bands from 13 and under through 70 and over. Additional awards include top walkers and team awards for largest team and top fundraising team.
