Sussex SuperHero 5K
Sussex SuperHero 5K is scheduled for September 27, 2026, at Fort Miles on Cape Henlopen Drive in Lewes, Delaware. Proceeds benefit the Kim and Evans Family Foundation. Parking is available in open lots in the state park.
The event offers multiple participation options:
- 5K run/walk, in-person
- Competitive walking 5K - must walk entire race, no running or jogging
- Virtual 5K - run anywhere and submit results; includes t-shirt shipping
Chip timing will be used with the MYLAPS BibTag system. Results will be posted online during the race and complete results will be published after the event. Awards include top overall male and female, top masters, age-group awards for ten-year brackets from 13 and under to 70 and over, top walkers, and team awards for largest team and most funds raised.
On-site amenities and post-race provisions include bagels, fruit, and water. Event policies note that no dogs are allowed due to insurance liability, bibs are non-transferable, and registrations are non-refundable.
