The Rehoboth Seashore Marathon and Half Marathon takes place in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware on December 6, 2025. The event offers in-person and virtual options, including a full marathon and a half marathon.

Course and registration

The course is described as fast, flat and scenic. The published start location is Rehoboth Avenue at the bandstand and the published finish is on 4th Street behind Rehoboth Beach Running Company (301 Rehoboth Avenue). Packet pick up is scheduled for December 5 at Rehoboth Beach Running Company, with additional race day pick up at the start. Registration opens February 1, 2025 and closes December 4, 2025. Listed entry fees on the registration page are $200 for the marathon, $180 for the half marathon, $90 for the virtual marathon and $80 for the virtual half marathon. In-person events are open to ages 13 and older. At times the in-person half marathon reaches capacity.

Race rules and race gear

The race enforces a seven hour time limit and requires participants to maintain at least a 16 minute per mile pace. Runners not at that pace by mile 18 will not be allowed to continue. Participants must follow course marshal directions or face immediate disqualification; failure to make the time limit is recorded as DNF. Race shirts are white, long sleeve Brooks models; organizers advise sizing up at least one size.

Charitable beneficiaries

Proceeds support local organizations including Girls on the Run Delaware, Friends of Cape Henlopen State Park, Seashore Striders Youth Cross Country Team, Delaware Kids Fund, The Surfgimp Foundation and other local charities. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
