Rehoboth Seashore Marathon and Half Marathon

The Rehoboth Seashore Marathon and Half Marathon takes place on December 6, 2025 in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. The live race starts on Rehoboth Avenue at the bandstand and finishes on 4th Street behind Rehoboth Beach Running Company (301 Rehoboth Avenue). A virtual option is offered for both distances.

Registration and logistics

Registration opens February 1, 2025 at noon. An automatic $20 discount applies during the first 12 hours on February 1. Entry fees listed on the event page are $170 for the marathon, $150 for the half marathon, $75 for the virtual marathon, and $65 for the virtual half marathon. Events are open to ages 14 and older. There is no on-site registration at packet pick up or on race day.

Course, timing and apparel

The course is described as fast, flat and scenic. Organizers will enforce a 7 hour time limit; participants must maintain a 16 minute per mile pace and be at that pace by mile 18 or they will not be allowed to continue. Race shirts are long-sleeve white Brooks shirts; they run small and participants are advised to size up.

Beneficiaries

Proceeds support local organizations including Girls on the Run Delaware, Friends of Cape Henlopen State Park, Seashore Striders Youth Cross Country Team, Delaware Kids Fund, The Surfgimp Foundation and other local charities. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
