Event overview
The 20th Run with Santa is a 5k run/walk held at Cape Henlopen State Park in Lewes, DE on Sunday, December 14, 2025. The event is produced by Seashore Strider Event Production Inc. and hosted at the park’s main beach/bathhouse parking lot. The course runs through Cape Henlopen State Park and Fort Miles, with a turnaround behind the campground at the abandoned tower. Race timing will use Chronotrack chip timing.
Logistics and amenities
Entry fees are tiered: $30 through November 30 (early bird), $35 through December 14 (pre-registration), and $40 on race day. Packet pickup and race-day registration occur at on-site pavilions, and there is parking in the Beach One/Bathhouse lot. Race amenities include long-sleeve T-shirts and a canned food drive; cans can be dropped off at the start/finish area. Water stops are provided - one on the Fort Miles section of the course and one at the start/finish. Awards are custom and will be presented to Overall and Master finishers plus the top three in each of these age groups: 9 & under, 10-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+.
