Surfers Point Marathon - Ventura, CA
The Surfers Point Marathon takes place on September 6, 2026 at Solimar Beach in Ventura, California. The event features oceanfront running along the Ventura beachfront on a mostly flat, looped road course. The course is USATF certified and accepted for Boston Marathon qualifying.

The event is described as walker friendly and allows a generous seven hour time limit for the full marathon. Water and Gatorade stations are placed approximately every 1.5 miles and porta potties are available on course and at the expo area. The event uses cup-less water stations with foot pedal dispensers; reusable cups are available for purchase at packet pickup or race day check-in.
Packet pickup is held the Saturday before the race at Ventura Fit Body Boot Camp, with race day pickup available at the starting area. There is no athlete parking at the Rincon; shuttle pickup locations are provided. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and the top three in each age group, with age groups ranging from 0-9 up to 80+. An early start option exists for full marathon runners; those who use it must notify organizers in advance so their timing can be recorded.
