Surfers Point Marathon, Ventura, CA
Surfers Point Marathon is scheduled for September 6, 2026, at Solimar Beach in Ventura, California. The event offers multiple road-race distances along the Ventura beachfront and Historic Old Rincon Highway on a mostly flat, measured course.
The event includes these distances:
- Marathon (three-loop full marathon course)
- Half marathon
- 10K
- 5K
The course is USATF certified and will have mile markers. Water and Gatorade stations are placed at approximately 1.5-mile intervals. The event uses cup-less water stations; runners may bring a reusable cup or purchase one at packet pickup or race-day check-in. Porta potties are located about every 1.5 miles and at the race expo area.
The full marathon has a seven-hour time limit and is described as walker friendly. An early-start option is available for marathon entrants who need more time; early starters should know the course in advance and note that water stations may not be fully staffed during the initial portion of an early start.
Packet pickup is the Saturday before the race, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, at Ventura Fit Body Boot Camp, 4355 E Main St #7-8, Ventura, CA 93003. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top three in each age group, with age groups ranging from 0-9 through 80+.
