Surfers Point Marathon 2027
Surfers Point Marathon takes place on September 5, 2027 at Solimar Beach in Ventura, California. The event uses a mostly flat road course along the Ventura beachfront and Historic Old Rincon Highway; the full marathon follows a three-loop layout. The course is USATF certified and accepted for Boston qualifying times.

The event is walker friendly and allows a generous seven hour time limit for the full marathon. An early start option is available for full marathon entrants who notify organizers in advance; early starters should be prepared to be self-sufficient for fluids during the early portion of the race.
Aid stations and facilities are provided along the route. Water and Gatorade are placed about every 1.5 miles, served via a cupless dispensing system; a reusable cup is available for purchase at packet pickup or race day. Porta potties are located on course and at the expo area.
Packet pickup is held the day before the race at Ventura Fit Body Boot Camp, 4355 E Main St, Suite 7-8, Ventura CA 93003. There is no athlete parking at the Rincon start area; shuttles run from designated pickup locations to the event. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers overall and to the top three in each age group for all distances. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
