Superhero Half Marathon and Relay
The event takes place on May 2, 2027 at Ginty Field in Morristown, New Jersey. It includes individual and team options over the half marathon distance and related race-day services at the venue.
Distances:
- Half marathon - 13.1 Miles
- Relay - 13.1 Miles total, split into two 6.55 mile legs
Registration fees differ by entry type: $50 for the individual half marathon, $60 for the relay, and a $45 discounted rate for USATF members (proof of membership required for the discount). Registration insurance is offered at checkout; refunds, substitutions, or deferrals will not be considered if insurance was not purchased.
Race amenities include tech tank tops for the first 1,000 registrants, large finisher medals for all half marathon and relay finishers, free participant photos, and post-run food including fresh hot pizza from the Columbia Inn food truck. Prizes are awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers, top three in each five-year age group, and special prizes for best costumes.
Course support features water and sports drink stations approximately every 2.5 miles, pacers for target finish times of 1:45, 2:00, 2:15, 2:30 and 2:45, and a strict three-hour course time limit. Packet pickup is scheduled at Fleet Feet of Morristown on May 1 and at Ginty Field on race morning; shirts are first come, first served.
