Event overview
The Superhero 5K is scheduled for Saturday, April 25, 2026, in Melbourne, FL at The Avenue Viera (2261 Town Center Ave.). The event is organized by Friends of Children of Brevard, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, to raise funds for local foster children. Packet pickup and registration are available the day before at Running Zone (3696 N. Wickham Rd., Melbourne) and on race day at The Avenue. All participants receive a finisher medal. Shirt color is chosen by team assignment - Team Marvel (red) or Team DC (blue) - and sizes are guaranteed only if registered by 3/31. Awards are listed for overall, masters (40+), detailed age groups, teams (co-ed teams of four), schools, costumes, and a mascot race. The event is held rain or shine; no refunds.
