Superhero 5K Fun Run : Union City Civic Center
The Superhero 5K Fun Run takes place on Sunday, March 8, 2026 at the Union City Civic Center / City Hall, 34009 Alvarado-Niles Road, Union City, CA 94587. The event runs rain or shine and offers separate adult and youth 5K events.
Event features include official race timing, awards for first, second, and third place in each category, raffle prizes and giveaways, and a costume contest for best hero or villain attire. A portion of each registration fee : five dollars per participant : will be donated to the Parkinson’s Foundation through the Union City Moving Day team.
Race categories are organized by age: Boys/Girls 12 & Under; Boys/Girls 13–17; Men/Women 18–29; Men/Women 30–39; Men/Women 40–49; Men/Women 50–59; Men/Women 60–69; Men/Women 70+. Since 2016 the Union City Parkinson’s Exercise program has helped raise over $100,000 for people with Parkinson’s.
