Event details
No Foolin' Foot Race is scheduled for Saturday, April 18, 2026. It is the fourth annual running of the event and features multiple trail distances. Distances offered include:
- 1K (~350 ft of climbing) : open to ages 5-10
- 5K (~530 ft of climbing)
- 10K (~1,500 ft of climbing)
- 15K (Long Course, new this year; ~2,300 ft of climbing)
The courses run through Big Canyon, Eaton and Pulgas Ridge. Registration for the 1K Kids Course ends April 14, 2026. Early bird pricing is available through March 18, 2026.
Location, services and partners
The event has a start and finish festival at Crestview Park, 1000 Crestview Drive, San Carlos, CA 94070. The race will use professional timing. Participants receive tech T-shirts and free runner photos, and awards are given in multiple categories. The organizer states there will be training runs in early March and updates via a Strava Club. All proceeds benefit maintenance and improvement of San Carlos open space trails. The event is presented by Kaiser Permanente in partnership with the Parks and Recreation Foundation of San Carlos and the City of San Carlos.
