Event details
The No Foolin' Foot Race takes place on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Crestview Park, 1000 Crestview Drive, San Carlos, CA 94070. Registration opens September 27, 2025; early bird pricing is available through March 18, 2026. The 1K Kids Course registration ends April 14, 2026 and is open to ages 5 to 10. A start and finish festival will be held at Crestview Park. All proceeds benefit maintenance and improvement of San Carlos open space trails.
Courses and services
The event offers four trail races that use local open space areas including Big Canyon, Eaton and Pulgas Ridge. Courses include technical trail sections and significant climbing. Distances and climbing amounts:
- 1K - about 350 ft of climbing, for ages 5-10
- 5K - about 530 ft of climbing
- 10K - about 1,500 ft of climbing
- Long Course (15-18K) - about 2,500 ft of climbing
The event provides professional timing, technical T-shirts and free runner photos for participants, and awards in multiple categories. Training runs are scheduled for early March. The race is organized with support from local partners including the Parks and Recreation Foundation of San Carlos, the City of San Carlos and A Runner's Mind.
