No Foolin' Foot Race - San Carlos
The No Foolin' Foot Race is the fourth annual trail running event in San Carlos on April 18, 2026. The courses run through Big Canyon, Eaton and Pulgas Ridge. A festival is held at Crestview Park. The event offers professional timing, event tech shirts and free runner photos, and awards are given in multiple categories.
Distances and elevation are listed below:
- 1K (~350 ft of climbing), open to ages 5 to 10
- 5K (~530 ft of climbing)
- 10K (~1,500 ft of climbing)
- Long Course 15K (~2,300 ft of climbing) new this year
Early bird pricing is available through March 18, 2026. Course previews are scheduled for March 8 (5K and 10K routes) and March 28 (5K and 15K routes) in partnership with A Runner's Mind and Brooks, with updates shared via a Strava club. All proceeds benefit maintenance and improvement of San Carlos open space trails. The event is presented by Kaiser Permanente in partnership with the Parks and Recreation Foundation of San Carlos and the City of San Carlos.
