Event overview
The CASA of Wise & Jack Counties Superhero 5K is a community running event in downtown Decatur, Texas, held on October 17, 2026. The course starts at the corner of Main and State Streets. The event is organized to raise funds for CASA of Wise and Jack counties and to increase awareness of child abuse, neglect, and the needs of children in foster care. All proceeds will benefit CASA of Wise and Jack counties and their advocacy work.

The main 5K had a listed registration fee of $30 through October 3, 2026, and $40 after that date. Children under 12 may register free (additional cost applies for a shirt or timing if desired). Race t-shirts were guaranteed to racers registered by September 23, 2026.
Age divisions are listed for awards in male and female categories: 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 & over. Medals are planned for Overall male/female, Top Youth male/female, and the top three in each age division. The event is chip timed. No pets are allowed.
