Event: Skinnydipper Sun Run (5K)
The Skinnydipper Sun Run is a clothing optional 5K cross-country race held at Wildwood Naturist's Resort in Decatur, TX on Saturday, April 25, 2026. The course includes ravines, logs, gravel roads, trails through woods and open meadows, and the race will be chip timed. No pets, bicycles, strollers, baby joggers, or in-line skates are permitted on the course. Cameras are not allowed on site.
The race is limited to members and registered runners for resort access; general spectators are not admitted. Non-running spouses or significant others may enter the resort as volunteers if listed on the entry form. A course map is provided by the organizer. After the race, complimentary snacks and refreshments are offered, followed by a BBQ dinner at no additional charge and an evening dance.
Registration, fees and awards
Advance entry fees are $30 on or before April 11, 2026, and $35 from April 12 until April 24, 2026; a technical t-shirt is available for an additional $10. There will be no day-of-race registration. Packet pick-up must be done in person on race day. Registration options include online via RunSignUp or mailing a printed entry form to Wildwood Naturist's Resort.
Awards are based on gun time. Categories include overall male and female, Masters (40+), Grand Masters (50+), Senior Grand Masters (60+), and age group awards for men and women. Medals will be given to overall, masters, grand masters, senior grand masters, and the top three in each age group; awards will not be duplicated. A post-race prize drawing for a one-year Wildwood membership requires presence to win. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
