Race Overview
The Skinnydipper Sun Run is a clothing-optional running event held at the Wildwood Naturist Resort in Decatur, Texas. Participants compete on a course within the resort grounds in an environment that permits nudity. The event features a single distance:

Competition and Timing
The race uses chip timing to track participants, though final awards are determined by gun time. Competitors are organized into various categories based on age and gender. Professional recognition is provided for overall winners as well as specialized divisions including Masters (40+), Grand Masters (50+), and Senior Grand Masters (60+).
Age Groupings
The event maintains comprehensive age groups for both male and female participants. Female age brackets range from 29 and under up to 75 and over. Male age brackets extend from 29 and under up to 90 and over. Awards are non-duplicated, meaning overall winners are excluded from receiving additional age group awards.
Atmosphere and Amenities
Beyond the competition, the event schedule includes an awards ceremony following the race. Participants have access to on-site activities including a communal BBQ dinner and an evening dance. Access to the resort is controlled, with gates closing to outside traffic shortly before the race begins and reopening once the course is clear.
