Event overview
The Skinnydipper Sun Run is a clothing-optional 5K cross-country race held at Wildwood Naturist's Resort in Decatur, TX on April 25, 2026. The course includes ravines, logs, gravel roads, trails through woods, and open meadows. The race will be chip timed and awards will be based on gun time. Cameras are not permitted on site.
Entry, fees and registration
Advance registration is required; there will be no race day registration. Entry fees are $30 on or before April 11, 2026 and $35 from April 12 until April 24, 2026. A technical t-shirt is available for an additional $10. Registration can be completed online or by mailing a printed entry form with payment. Packet pick-up must be performed in person on race day.
Race categories, awards and post-race
Overall categories exist for male and female runners plus Masters (40+), Grand Masters (50+), and Senior Grand Masters (60+). Female age groups start at "29 and under" and run in five-year bands up to "75 and over." Male age groups include similar five-year bands and extend up to "90 and over." Medals will be awarded to overall and masters category winners and to the top three finishers in each age group; overall winners will not also receive age-group awards. After the race there will be complimentary snacks and a BBQ dinner at no additional charge, a prize drawing for a one-year Wildwood membership (winner must be present), and an evening dance.
Course rules and etiquette
No pets, bicycles, strollers, baby joggers, or in-line skates are permitted on the course. Participants are asked to bring a towel for seating and shared facilities. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
